I had a scheduled team meeting with my artist at "Ours Studio" in Decatur, Ga. and I was introduced to Zack Spade by Mr. Ron Bivins as Zack came in to record some tracks. You know Lala Madness News loves to meet some new friends. We chopped it up a bit and he went into detail about his career and his fusion of rap and country music. They invited me to come back to "Ours Studio' for his listening party for his EP "Split" the following week. I agreed because I love some new music and supporting an artist. If the studio got behind him it got to be something. So, on that note I brought some real ones DJ Wis of Vintaj Tunes and Playa Poncho to party with me to support Zack Spade.

It ain't nothing like an entrance with Lala Madness News, DJ Wis, and Playa Poncho. We head to the back of the building while stopping occasionally to say some brief hellos because you know we know some of everybody. Once we make it in DJ Wis, Playa Poncho, and I head over to the DJ booth to have a small family reunion with TomCat. TomCat made an announcement and introduced Playa Poncho and DJ Wis to the crowd and gave them the mic for a brief introduction. You know the crowd was amazed and happy to have some real ones join the party. Big shoutout to Mr. Ron Bivins of Ours Studio in Decatur, Zack Spade, and TomCat for the warm welcome and some good music.

Zack introduced the music and we had a good turn up. He had a different EP concept for his project "Split" which is just what it sounds like. He has an edgy side showcasing the rap style which is on the BLUE side and the breakout Country style on the RED side. It is a fusion on both sides of both, but he did a good job with writing for both sides, and the production was definitely on point. You know I love me some good production and writing skills. Here are a few songs from both sides to give you a little sample.

BEHIND THE SCENES

As we tour Ours Studio Playa Poncho and DJ Wis run into Gorilla Zoe who was there to support since he is featured on Zack's song "ROLLIN". They chopped it up and shared some old tour memories. We snapped a few pics as well and Gorilla Zoe mentioned that his "baby" that used to roll with them on tours back in the day was outside. It was good to see old friends that spanned over 2 decades catch up. You know I got the BTS of "the baby" so keeping scrolling.

As I make it through the crowd I run into some familiar faces and there is Ray Daniels of WIGO radio. He mentioned he was trying to contact DJ Wis, so I head over to Wis and ask him to come and speak with Ray Daniels. He wanted DJ Wis to join his radio station with a show because you know DJ Wis is the best at a mashup or remix. After the convo the party was kicking in and I was still speaking to familiar faces in the room.

PARKING LOT PIMPIN

Now after we do our inside support for Zack Spade and parlay for a few we head on outside for some parking lot pimpin and politicking. Gorilla Zoe reintroduces his son to Playa Poncho and DJ Wis. Everyone was amazed to see that this baby was now a grown man that could grab him something to eat and all that. We chopped it up with DJ Funky's son and they discussed their Blockchain business with everyone off camera, but here is a sneak peak of the chill session.
