Zeus "Rebel" Waters came through to let us check out his new song "Snap Yo Fan". The song is giving Southern Soul with a tinch of swag. We had a good session recapping his former history as the artist Ruka Puff, working with Hoo-Bangin' Records, music syncing while pushing his single "I Love It" and other music from his previous catalog. He had a nice collection of music and movement under his previous moniker, so he is no "newbie"

Anyhoo, during this call I had some of my good friends from the industry attend. Special shoutout to Big V, Derek Tresvant (DT), Clinton Kelly of The Kelly Franklin Music Group, Highlyfe (HLyfe Magazine), DJ Shawn Dawg, and others. We had a good chat that included some music history which gave many a different outlook on the trajectory of the "new" music industry which is operating like the "old" music industry. Being that Zeus "Rebel" Waters started out in the "old" music industry he will have an advantage of how to navigate and see through most of what is going on now.

Big shoutout to Big V because we know anything Big V touches will have some motion or the potential to blow and with a lil fine tuning it's going to make some moves. That means he has already assessed the drive and talent of the artist which in turn determines their marketability.

It's easy to see how his experience will open doors for him to make some things shake. He spoke on actually shaking hands, networking the old-fashioned way, and putting on a heck of a performance. Performance is key with capturing the crowd. Although he uses social media for additional promotion or to keep the folks in tune with his movements and career elevation, he knows the grassroots version is the way.

His music and visuals definitely gives good writing, a showstopping outfit that fits the song, while still letting his authentic self shine. As I previously mentioned he has experience in the music industry previously being Ruka Puff so he is seasoned and knows what his fans want. He received some good feedback on the song, and he is open to network for new opportunities.
